Tarrytown House Estate Hotel

I booked a double room with climate control and a TV. The hotel had indeed an absolutely lovely location to the area attractions.

reasonably clean property with knowledgeable and competent staff with management about the disheartening behavior off staff members. stunning location near to a sloping pathway, the irvington train station and hudson river attractions, and warm and assorted breakfast. free parking close to the hotel provided. library bar and very clean pool.

My room was freshly renovated and good-sized.

Luxurious and charming accommodation with favourable setting just off historical landmarks as well as Taxi. Pool bar, airy room with balconies and very comfy beds and comfortable furnishings. Variety of appetising options for meal: )

The local staff was consistently courteous and absolutely kind.

The lobby is fine, with a hot apple cider that warms your soul on those chilly nights. I can't forget how the staff was surprisingly friendly, remembering my name like they were old friends. You can't buy that kind of hospitality, folks.

Sure, it wasn't exactly cheap.

Event was at the hotel so staying right there at Tarrytown House was very convenient and comfortable.

They wouldn't honor the discount for the wedding party because I had booked with Booked.net. Not sure why this is.

Beautiful scenery, even with 4 weddings that weekend the place was never crowded. We enjoyed Quiet evening in Cellar 49 and an uninterrupted breakfast.

I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful grounds, picturesque and accessible. The estate's charm.

More elderly-friendly amenities would enhance the experience.

No robes in room, and plastic mattress coverage sleeping unpleasant .

too spread out - hard to find anything and distinguish between the business conference designated places and ones for tourists

great park proximity and charming landmarks for city strolls

I stayed here for 2 nights and loved that Washington Irving's Sunnyside is just a 1.5 km walk away. The nearby Scenic Hudson Park offered beautiful views where I could unwind after exploring the area.

It is sold as nice small hotel and it is a one building after the other the bad taste everywhere is superb you shouldn't advertise the hotel using those fraudulent pictures of a stone house really disappointing in every sense except for the friendly staff I would never go back and never ever recommend it

A friend referred me to the "Tarrytown House" and I am glad I listened. Except for getting lost inside the hotel, I could not have asked for better accomodations away from home. We can't wait to go back.

The view of the river was fine. The grounds were beautifully maintained. I enjoyed the outdoor pool and the quiet atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was excellent.
